Thermal Imaging Surveys

With a wealth of experience garnered over the last 30 years, we use Thermal Imaging as one of our tools to trace leaks and to determine the causes of condensation. A dry, still day with low sunlight is the best. If a comparison between inside and out is required then generally a temperature difference of 10°C is required so that the images are sharp. Thermal imaging used correctly can be a useful tool in building pathology, and for tracing leaks, missing insulation, faults in roofs, radiators that don't heat up correctly and for tracing pipework. Thermal imaging can also be used to check if the conditions are present for condensation to occur.
